Scent Scouts is designed for curious, busy-brained dogs who need an outlet that works with their natural instincts, not against them.
It’s ideal for of all shapes sizes and abilities. From energetic puppies, rescue dogs with an unknown history, and dogs who find traditional training classes challenging.
There’s no shame, no judgement!
In our sessions, your dog gets to use one of their greatest natural skills: their nose.
Through scent-based challenges, they’ll have the opportunity to focus, problem-solve, succeed and settle, using both their brain and body in a deeply rewarding way.
Unlike traditional scent classes that rely on line-ups or tubes, Scent Scouts uses the environment itself which helps your dog gain confidence.
Challenges are adapted to the dog in front of us, we welcome beginners and experienced scent dogs to work at their own level.
And it’s more than just a class.
All Scent Scouts clients are invited to join our friendly WhatsApp support group, giving you somewhere to share wins, ask questions, get ongoing guidance and connect with others between sessions.
We grow together, Dogs and humans alike.
📍This session will take place at: boughton-under-blean (Church woods)
Class Information
Small group class: maximum of 4 dogs per session.
Please bring:
- High-value rewards (treats and/or toys)
- Standard Lead
- Long line
- Water for your dog.
- A positive mindset ❤️
- ⭐️ If your dog is a Scent Scout Legend – please bring your bandanna and a log book 🌟
- Appropriate foot wear and clothing for yourself
Children are welcome, however they must be supervised by an adult at all times.
For the safety and comfort of everyone attending, Hoof & Paws must be informed of any children attending on the booking form for the class.
Please note:
- All classes are carried out by an approved and vetted dog trainer.
- Please note: some locations may Incur parking charges at the location – Hoof & Paws can not be held responsible nor will we cover those charges.
- 1-1 sessions are available on request for dogs who may benefit from individual support before joining a group.
- Payment secures your place in the class.
Please note - this is a group class. If your dog struggles in the company of other dogs, rather than book this class please book a one-to-one.
