Leash and Learn is real-world dog training for adult dogs that find everyday walks more challenging than they should be.
If your dog pulls on the lead, struggles to focus, becomes over-excited, ignores recall or lacks engagement with you, this class is for you.
We train in the places you actually walk not just a training hall, so your dog can learn calm, workable skills where it truly matters.
We tackle real-life challenges like loose lead walking, engagement around distractions, over-arousal, recall, and building better communication between you and your dog.
You’ll get clear, practical coaching and achievable steps that help both you and your dog feel more confident on walks.
This isn’t about perfection or obedience for obedience’s sake. It’s about helping your dog cope better with the world and helping you enjoy your walks again.
We are building more than just a class, we have a wonderful WhatsApp community for all our leash and learn clients to connect, share progress and ask us questions.
- Group Class with a max of 4 dogs per class
- Location: Clowes woods.
- Bring with you: rewards – treats/toys, lead, log-line and a positive mindset.
- Children are welcome however, they must be supervised by an adult at all times. Hoof & Paws must be informed of children’s attendance before booking class to ensure the safety of everyone attending.
- Carried out by an approved and vetted dog trainer.
- 1-1 classes available on request.

Please note - this is a group class. If your dog struggles in the company of other dogs, rather than book this class please book a one-to-one.
